Then the way led us over the Jachenaustrecke to the Walchensee.
On the southern shore of the lake we drove a few kilometers until we met the B 11 again, which we had left in Wallgau in the morning.
Despite the advanced hour, we allowed ourselves a cappucino break on the lakeside and then drove over the Kesselberg down to the Kochelsee.
As an exception, the route was completely free and we were able to enjoy this wonderful mountain route as far as the village of Kochel. Murnau was quickly reached and via Uffing we went past the Staffelsee to Böbing and Rottenbuch.
From there we drove directly via Steingaden, Lechbruck and Roßhaupten to Nesselwang and from there via Wertach and Rettenberg back to Sonthofen.
At about 19:30 o'clock we arrived - already in the darkness - at home.
In summary, it can be said that the large maple soil in autumn is simply a natural spectacle of the first order. When the maple trees are colorful and the mountains all around already carry the first snow it is simply breathtaking.
I can only recommend everyone to take the opportunity and see for themselves.
My thanks to the two riders who made the whole thing a special experience - together you can enjoy something so beautiful.
The whole route was dominated by autumnal colours and it was simply beautiful!
