The tour - just like Juratour 1 - often leads along small and very small roads, some of which are in relatively poor condition. There are many ascents and descents. The landscape is varied and impressive. A tour that emphasizes the beauty of this part of the Jura! La Goule and the Chasseral deserve special mention!

First we go over the Scheltenpass - really nice to look at and ride (!) - to Corban, Courrendlin and Courfaivre. This section is not very beautiful, but the following stretch is even more so! In Courfaivre we turn left and steeply up the mountain. Unfortunately, the single-lane road uphill here has a lot of small bumps that can only be crossed at very low speed. Via Undervelier and Les Genevez the road continues to Saignelégier. Afterwards it goes to Le Noirmont and here it turns right to La Goule. The route initially leads down to the Doubs on a narrow but quite well asphalted road. However, the ride up towards Col de la Vierge is not as easy as the previous descent. The road is extremely steep and goes up in narrow hairpin bends and requires a high degree of vehicle control! Over the Col de la Vierge we go in the direction of Damprichard. Shortly before the village, however, a very small road branches off to the left again, over which one gets to the D464, and again down to the Doubs. Via La Chaux-de-Fonds, the tour leads to the Col de la Vue des Alpes. Right in front of it, a one-lane road leads, very curvy down to the valley. Via Cernier and passing Savagnier one gets up to the Chasseral - beautiful views down! Down to St. Imier, Tramelan and Tavannes, the road then heads north to Souboz until shortly before Moutier and on to Court. The further way to Gänsbrunnen is again very narrow but also very attractive. In Welschenrohr the route then climbs up the northern mountain slopes once again and then Balsthal is soon reached!
